Hand 17 - MTT

    Hi Guys

    I just wanted peoples opinions on this situation:

    Reads: HIJ - very strong reg. SB - loose, weak.

    Blinds/Antes: 60/120/24

    Hero - 5:club:6:club:

    2 Fold, HIJ (12577) Raise to 270, 2 Fold, SB (10726) Call 210, Hero BB (9813) Call 150.

    Flop (978): 2:heart:3:club:10:spade:

    SB Check, Hero Check, HIJ Bet 547, SB Call 547, Hero Raise to 1447, HIJ Fold, Villain Call 900.

    Turn (4419): 2:heart:3:club:10:spade:7:club:

    Villain Check, Hero Bet 1944, Villain Call 1944.

    River (8307): 2:heart:3:club:10:spade:7:club:A:diamond:

    Villain Check, Hero ???

    Any comments much appreciated.

    Seems ok triple barrel spot so shove river. You can have 22, 33, some TT, some AT and some 45 here. That would be like 3 + 3 + 1 + 2 + 2 = 11 value combos. So you can definitely have few bluff combos and be well balanced. How often you want to raise AT and such is another question. I didnt pick that many of those. Also TT because of it blockers is bit questionable to raise. 22 and 33 are sort of mandatory if we want to semibluff with some of these gutshots or OESD.

    But this sort of flop and board is rarely bluffed especially in 3way pot imo so versus good thinking opponent river shove should be very effective. Of course if he happens to have like AT+ he will likely call but most weaker hands like JT, QT, KT, JJ, QQ, KK, Tcxc will likely fold.

    Anyway this spot is pretty tough to be overbluffed and in villain shoes its tricky to find that many of those bluff combos unless he thinks we get wild with lot of stuff like QJs etc.
